Weston-super-Mare based Knightstone Housing has received top marks from affordable housing’s regulatory body, the Homes and Community Agency.
Knightstone Housing was awarded the highest possible rating for both governance and financial viability when it was assessed recently by the agency.
Nick Horne, who is its Chief Executive at Knightstone, comments: “We’re really pleased that the Homes and Communities Agency has awarded us these excellent ratings. This is a particularly great achievement for us.
“We’re going through a major business transformation, reducing the number of local authority areas we work in from 37 to nine and reshaping our services, to invest more in our communities.
“We’re doing all this to make sure our customers receive the best possible service. This judgement confirms our robust financial position and the strength of our leadership in these tough economic times.”
Knightstone is a major employer and landlord in North Somerset and is investing in a brand new office, which will open in Weston-super-Mare in 2013 at the JCT 21 development.
