Laver Financial celebrate 21 years in business

Laver Financial, an independent investment management and portfolio planning company based in Weston-super-Mare, is celebrating its twenty-first year in business with a new website (www.laverfinancial.co.uk), and by outlining ambitions to raise its profile across the UK.

The company, which manages and protects the wealth of private individuals, businesses and partnerships in the UK and around the world, was founded by Derrick Laver in 1991.

According to Derrick, the firm and its seven strong team has built its success through offering clients a full range of financial and investment propositions, including funding income needs in retirement, reducing inheritance tax and wealth management.

Laver Financial has also become one of only a small number of IFA’s in the whole of the UK to have been granted discretionary investment permission by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). This permission was granted in May 2008, and the firm now manages £25 million of clients’ money on a discretionary basis.

Derrick says that Laver’s success over twenty-one years has come from taking the time to understand each person’s lifestyle and objectives and delivering a service beyond expectations.

Derrik explains further: “We have always worked hard at being attentive, responsive and personal. It’s a philosophy which has worked well for us and whilst we have helped our clients shape their futures, they in turn have shaped our business, helping us grow by recommendation.
