Mush, a social media network for mums, is looking for £2 million investment

Ashfords law firm has advised on a £2 million investment round led by Octopus Ventures for a social media network for mums.

Mush, launched in May 2016 and co-founded by Sarah Hesz and Katie Massie-Taylor, is an app created to help bring mothers together in the local community through group chats, encouraging users to join local groups of mums, and recommending and reviewing local places to eat and visit.

Ashfords was instructed to advise on the investment round which will see the company continue its strong plans for growth and development.

Rory Suggett, corporate partner at Ashfords, said: “Mush is an exciting and innovative app which has excelled since its inception in 2016 to become a widely recognised name and product amongst the parent tech community and mums.

“We are delighted to have advised Mush on this investment round and we look forward to seeing great things from them in the future as they continue to grow.”
