Newcastle-based Peter Millican Law has responded to recent increased demand for its services by revealing the company has more than doubled size in 12 months.

It’s been reported that in the past 12 months, the firm has increased its workforce adding an associate solicitor, a solicitor and three new trainee solicitors.

Peter Millican, owner of the firm, said: “Our commitment is to our clients, and as our reputation has grown in recent years, so has our client base. We’ve recruited carefully for the right people to join our team, colleagues who have the same ethos and the same commitment as the existing team members to ensure clients continue to receive advice that is specific to their individual requirements.

“We’re delighted to have strengthened our team, and as the demand on both our corporate and commercial property teams continues to grow, we are now actively looking to recruit additional team members.”

Ricky Handa, recently promoted to associate solicitor, joined the commercial property team in July 2017, followed by trainee solicitor, Aphrodite Christodoulou in December 2017.

Meanwhile, Gwen Fitzpatrick joined the firm as associate solicitor in June 2018, bringing her 11 years of experience to the commercial property team.

Trainee solicitors Ella Doshi and Christina Mulholland will come on board later this month and will work across the corporate and commercial property teams.
