Local franchisee expands further

Local McDonald’s franchisee Tim Lamb is expanding his existing group of three restaurants in the North Somerset area.

Tim is acquiring the McDonald’s restaurant in Weston Links later this month.

He took on his first two restaurants in Weston town centre and Worle in 2008, with a third in Portishead following in 2010.

The addition of the restaurant in Weston Links now means Tim owns the franchise for all the McDonald’s restaurants in North Somerset, employing 350 local people across the group.

Tim comments: “I’m excited about taking on this new venture in Weston Links.

“As a local businessman I’m keen to ensure steady investment in the area and am pleased to be able to provide a number of new jobs and offer consistent career progression.

“Investing in the development of our staff is also important – we want to ensure they have a good learning ladder of opportunities ahead of them to benefit their career and to ultimately help us deliver consistently high levels of customer service.”
