London-based luxury shoe restorer celebrates exponential growth

A London-based luxury shoe restorer has marked its third year in business with accelerated growth, having expanded 20% month-on-month since January 2019.

Based in Kings Cross, Shoe Spa was founded by serial entrepreneur, Paul Kaniuk, in 2016, having spent many years replacing his own worn shoes from walking between business meetings in London city centre.

In finding and developing the Shoe Spa brand, Paul has created a luxury service that completely restores worn designer shoes by combining advanced technology with the unique skill of his workforce.

Now growing 20% month-on-month through both new and repeat business, Shoe Spa is deemed one of London’s ‘hidden gems’ and has recently expanded into the restoration of designer handbags through the launch of new sister brand, ‘Bag Spa’.

Paul confirmed: “In 2016 I launched Shoe Spa with a clear vision to become the market leader in luxury shoe restoration, having spent many years throwing away shoes that could easily be restored with the right service.”

“Shoe Spa not only enables consumers to enjoy their designer shoes for longer, but also enables them to adopt a more sustainable approach to their footwear, which is something more and more of our customers are passionate about as we gain greater insight into growing environmental concerns.”

Specialising in the restoration of top designer shoe brands ranging from Christian Louboutin to Jimmy Choo, Paul has completely re-designed the whole shoe restoration business model in Shoe Spa, from customer journey through to operations and technology, with a clear goal to disrupt the aftercare fashion market both in the UK and across Europe.

The entrepreneur’s ambitious goals will be aided by the recent launch of Bag Spa, a natural move for London’s leading fashion restoration brand.

Paul added: “Despite our short history, Shoe Spa has experienced incredible growth since inception, enabling us to expand our operation both internally and through the development of our sister brand, Bag Spa, which has extremely well-received by customers old and new.”
