Team-building company Talentful has launched the world’s first personality-based job hunting platform.
Talentful works with some of the biggest tech companies in the world including Amazon, WeWork and King.
According to research from Gallup, 85% of the global workforce is described as “emotionally disconnected from the workplace”. Talentful claims that this is because the way people find and apply for jobs is fundamentally broken.
Talentful’s new culture matching platform aims to bring out employees’ full potential by matching them with a balanced and supportive team. The tailored questions algorithmically calculate the job seeker’s personality type, to give one of eight personality archetypes: the Leader, the Innovator, the Team Player, the Adaptable One, the Executor, the Analyst, the Influencer, and the Entrepreneur. The platform then connects the candidate to real positions on the job market, giving a personalised culture fit score out of 100 for each position.
Phil Blaydes, Talentful founder and co-CEO, said: “Over the last few years Talentful has helped some of the best tech companies in the world build great teams, and we’ll still continue to do that.
“But now we’re also focused on giving power back to the jobseekers, giving them the best chance for them to find their ideal team by matching their unique personality with the perfect role. Our mission at Talentful is to unleash human potential and we believe the new culture matching platform is an exciting step to help people enjoy work and get more fulfilment from their careers.”
