London Stock Exchange leader to address business owners

A senior figure from the London Stock Exchange is joining the head of Grant Thornton’s regional practice at the next meeting of the business and financial adviser’s quarterly FD Club in Bristol.
Tim Lincoln, practice leader at Grant Thornton in the South West, is hosting the event at the firm’s offices in the city on Thursday, 16th October.
He will also be providing an insight into the FRS102 Financial Reporting Standards which come into effect next year.
Lucy Tarleton, the London Stock Exchange’s representative for London and the South of England, is also speaking at this month’s FD Club.
She will provide an analysis of the benefits of flotation and the challenges which companies face on their journey towards an IPO, highlighting the role of AIM in funding growth companies and its importance in accessing capital.
Established exclusively for finance directors and other senior decision makers, the FD Club provides an opportunity to hear Grant Thornton specialists provide insight into topical issues.
