Loop Massage is expanding its burgeoning business at Wapping Wharf’s CARGO with the launch of a new wellness centre, including a nail studio.
Polly Meech, owner of Loop Massage, is doubling the existing space she has at CARGO 2, part of Wapping Wharf, Bristol’s buzzing new harbourside quarter, by taking the next-door unit, number 9, which will be called The Other Space. It will replace Big Juice, which has closed.
Loop Massage currently offers bespoke treatments, blending elements of holistic and deep tissue massage.
With the launch of The Other Space, Loop will continue to offer massages, whilst adding to its offer with a nail studio with a focus on natural products, evening classes, immersive treatment experiences incorporating mindfulness sessions, sports massages, and, in time, reflexology and podiatry as well.
Polly Meech said: “The response I’ve had to Loop Massage since I opened it at CARGO just under a year ago has been beyond my wildest dreams. It’s been amazing. I’m so grateful for all my loyal customers and for being part of such a supportive independent business community. It really is so encouraging to know everyone around you is willing you to succeed!
“The Other Space at Loop will be a wellness centre at heart, offering the people of Bristol an urban retreat where they can truly relax an unwind from the daily grind. We are often asked by our customers how they can spend more time at Loop, and, of course, massage isn’t everyone’s ‘thing’, so we are creating other ways to help Bristol reset.
“If Loop Massage is a blanket fort, I hope The Other Space at Loop with be a club house of sorts: a little hub for busy humans to find a moment of calm to breath and be.”
Wapping Wharf is a flourishing new dockside community that has quickly made a name for itself as one of Bristol’s most exciting new waterfront food and retail hotspots.
