Marco Pierre White father’s day treat
Families wanting to treat their dads this Father’s Day are being advised to book a table at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill.
The renowned restaurant at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury is now taking bookings for the occasion, this year falling on Sunday 17 June, where it will be serving a delicious two- or three-course lunch including a free bottle of Marco’s new cider, ‘Governor’, for dads.
The new tipple which has been created with Weston’s Cider is described as a ‘hazy English cider’ with a ‘fresh apple flavour and hints of citrus and spice’ and has been named after Marco’s father’s greyhound.
Mimmo Pomo, restaurant manager at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, said: “Marco’s meals are a real hit with dads. It’s good hearty food and the Father’s Day menu is looking superb. Treating him to a slap-up lunch is a lovely way to show your dad how much you care.
“We are expecting the new cider ‘Governor’ to be a real success too so getting the chance to sample the drink for free is another great reason to come and visit us on the 17th.”
The menu includes appetising meat and vegetarian options including roast Ashdale beef, pan fried fillet of Sea Bass and risotto of asparagus, confit tomato and parmesan.
Prices for Father’s Day are £19.50 for two-courses and £23.00 for three-courses.
Chefs from the restaurant will also be visiting Cadbury Garden Centre on Father’s Day offering samples to shoppers.
