Marvin Rees outlines ambitious underground plans for Bristol

The Mayor of Bristol Marvin Rees has revealed plans that the council are planning on building an underground rail system in the city, as well as creating 30,000 new homes for the region.

Rees plans on inviting developers and investors, who will look to progress the council’s plans in due course.

With the ongoing uncertainty around Brexit – and Bristol’s population set to significantly rise in the coming years – the mayor believes¬†that the city’s proposals to build a mass transit system will get approved.
