Two new directors have been appointed at Childs+Sulzmann Architects in Bristol. Matt Parsons and Mike Cox, both previously Associates at Childs+Sulzmann, have been appointed as Board Directors as part of wider strategy to structure the business for further growth.

Mike has been lead designer on high profile projects including the Engine Shed, Thornbury Castle and Colston Tower and has a particular expertise in sustainable architecture and interventions to improve the performance of buildings with a particular cultural or historic significance.

Matt was lead designer on the recently completed Colston’s Primary School which was awarded a Bristol Civic Society award which recognises developments in Bristol which make a positive contribution to the local environment through excellence of design.

“As founding partners of the business, Peter Sulzmann and I are delighted that Matt and Mike are joining us to drive the business forward into the next phase of development.  They are both exceptionally talented architects,” stated Nick Childs, Design Director.
