McLaren Racing has today announced a technical collaboration with Salus Optima, a data driven software company that empowers its users to reach their health and well-being potential.

McLaren Racing and Salus Optima will collaborate on a remote coaching platform specifically for members of the race team to deliver improvements in human performance.

The demanding environment of Formula 1, fine margins of performance and an international travel schedule makes this an important collaboration for the team to continue to deliver at their best.

The project will combine McLaren Racing’s expertise in data, analytics and artificial intelligence with Salus Optima’s proprietary software platform and human performance framework to deliver personalised health and wellness recommendations, helping members of the race team achieve personal human performance goals.

Mark Waller, Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at McLaren Racing said: “We are pleased to announce this new collaboration with Salus Optima, helping us to ensure we are readily equipped to continue delivering our best at track. The health and well-being of our team is always a priority but now more than ever, it is incredibly important that we continue to assist in this area through innovative and personalised technology. We look forward to working with Salus Optima to develop this unique and exciting collaboration with the team at the heart.”

Rodrigo Jesus, CEO at Salus Optima said: “I am delighted to announce this collaboration with McLaren Racing. Our predictive technology stack, blended with our human performance framework, is taking personalisation to the granular level for the individual. The human performance challenges faced by members of the race team are prevalent across the population and relevant for everyone – we are excited about working with the team and look forward to delivering the rewards of Salus Optima’s world leading personalised health platform.”
