Meade King announce appointment of new senior manager

Bristol commercial law firm Meade King has appointed experienced solicitor and former journalist Sharron Athay as its new compliance and risk manager.
Sharron joins Meade King from the personal injury firm NewLaw Solicitors in Bristol where she was a technical development advisor and compliance auditor responsible for technical training across the firm.
Prior to this Sharron was a technical trainer in personal injury at the law firm Lyons Davidson in Bristol, and previously worked as a personal injury solicitor at Clarke Willmott in the city.
Sharron began her working life as a newspaper journalist at the Western Gazette in Yeovil, before embarking on a legal career.
Meade King’s managing partner James Hawkins said: “Sharron has a great deal of experience as a lawyer and trainer, and as an auditor completing file reviews and complaints investigations. So we’re naturally delighted to welcome her to our growing team of legal specialists. She will help to ensure that we continue to provide a high quality service to our many commercial and private clients, and adhere to the very highest standards of legal practice.”
