A former paralegal who began her legal career with Meade King has returned to work at the Bristol law firm as a qualified lawyer.

Lily Delaney joins Meade King’s tax and estate planning team from the law firm VWV in Bristol where she qualified as a chartered legal executive. Lily previously worked in Meade King’s litigation team as a paralegal while studying with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

She then moved to the firm’s private client practice where she stayed for three years before leaving in May 2017. In her new role back at Meade King, Lily will be advising clients on a wide range of personal matters including wills, lasting powers of attorney, estates and trusts.

Samantha Piper, who heads Meade King’s tax and estate planning team, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lily back as a qualified lawyer. She has worked very hard to progress her career and will be a valuable member of the team.

“She will help to ensure that our clients continue to receive the very highest levels of legal advice, whether it’s writing a will, sorting out the affairs of an elderly relative or protecting assets for future generations.”
