The commercial law firm Meade King has strengthened its insolvency team in Bristol with the appointment of experienced solicitor Lisa Cooke.
Lisa joins Meade King from Clarke Willmott in Bristol where she was an associate solicitor specialising in insolvency litigation on behalf of liquidators and trustees in bankruptcy.
Prior to this, Lisa was a solicitor at Bond Dickinson in Plymouth where she specialised in regulatory and commercial litigation work. Her work at Meade King will focus on advising individuals and company directors facing insolvency, as well as Insolvency Practitioners.
Meade King’s team of insolvency and debt lawyers offer a full range of support including advice on asset recovery, liquidations, receiverships, administrations, voluntary arrangements and bankruptcy.
Partner Keith Mahoney, who heads Meade King’s insolvency, employment and dispute resolution department, said: “Lisa has considerable experience in insolvency litigation and advising those facing financial difficulties. She will be a great asset to the team.
“Lisa will be working closely with Insolvency Practitioners and with companies and individuals facing insolvency and working hard to achieve the best possible outcomes.”
