Michael Humphreys becomes Tempest Resourcing CEO after working way up the business
Michael Humphreys has been named as the new CEO of Tempest Resourcing.
The promotion follows a 40% jump in business performance during 2022 when the firm’s turnover hit £54m.
Humphreys, who was previously Group Managing Director for the firm, has held a number of leadership roles across the Tempest business where he has worked for more than 12 years having started as a consultant back in 2010.
As CEO, Humphreys will lead the public sector-focused recruitment agency through its next stage of growth as the London-based recruiter continues its expansion with new regional offices across the UK.
Independently owned, Tempest Resourcing’s core markets are centred around education, local government, qualified social work and revenue & benefits.
Humphreys will hold overall responsibility for all recruitment brands within the Tempest group including Tempest Education, Tempest Executive, Tempest Qualified Social Work, Tempest Revenue & Benefits, and The Catchup Academy.
Humphreys takes over from Tempest Founder and outgoing CEO, Paul Bromwich, who moves to the role of Chairman where he will continue to lead Tempest’s Incubator Programme which finances and supports entrepreneurs in developing new companies on a co-ownership basis within the recruitment sector.
