New faces for Regency
Regency Purchasing Group, which is based in the South West, has announced two significant appointments to its national sales force this summer, Carole Stainforth and Simon Fowles.
Regency’s National Sales Manager Ben Hoskin said: “Carole brings with her a wealth of key account management experience, alongside a proven sales background. We know she will hit the ground running in her area and help our members achieve significant savings.
“Simon has experience in both national and key accounts, and has worked both in the on and off trade sections of the food industry for the past eight years. This experience will allow him to really put himself in our members’ shoes to always find the right solution for any problems they may encounter.”
Albert Goodman appoint new business development manager
South West accountancy firm, Albert Goodman has announced the appointment of Alan Stone as Business Development Manager.
Bringing more than 30 years’ experience to the firm, Alan is a well-known name throughout the region, previously heading up the marketing department at another large regional firm for 14 years. Within his new role, Alan will be working with the staff across four of the Albert Goodman’s offices to develop programmes to build relationships with prospective clients and demonstrate the firm’s valued added service offerings.
New consultant solicitor appointment at Menzies Law
Specialist employment law firm Menzies Law has announced the appointment of a new consultant solicitor to their team, further strengthening their niche specialist firm, which has seen significant growth over the last year, in part due to the increasing need for gender pay gap consultancy.
Employment law specialist Lisa Langston-Able joins the Menzies team on 24th July, from Co-op Legal Services where she has worked in the employment team for eight years.
At Menzies Law, Lisa will concentrate on advising and representing directors, executives and employee clients who require employment law support for their personal situations, as well as working with a range of SMEs.
Naismiths strengthens South West team
Senior consultant Rebecca Cumming has joined national property and real estate consultancy Naismiths to bolster its team in the South West. Rebecca, who has 20 years’ experience in the property industry, will work with the project monitoring team based in Bristol.
She said: “Naismiths is a rapidly growing consultancy which I am delighted to be a part of. I can’t wait to quickly find my feet here and draw on my experience to become a valued team member.”
New manager at Debbie Fortune Backwell office
Debbie Fortune Estate Agents have announced the employment of the new manager of their Backwell office. Joseph Downs has joined the expanding team, which now has three offices across Somerset, with the other two based in Chew Magna and Wrington.
Downs said: “I have worked as an estate agent in North Somerset for many years, and I know the area inside out. After a spell working in Bristol, I realised how much I missed the countryside and the people, and I feel privileged to have been given the chance to join Debbie and her team, and come back to my roots at the same time. The future looks very bright indeed!”
Glentworth announce newcomers
Glentworth Lettings have welcomed two new additional members to its residential and commercial lettings team.
Jodie Honour and Paige Gunstone will be working on property management, insurance and related financial services at their Weston-super-Mare office.
Bishop Fleming welcomes new Marketing Director
Top 40 accountants Bishop Fleming have appointed Paul Seymour as their new Marketing Director.
Seymour joins the firm from Bond Dickinson LLP and will be responsible for all aspects of the firm’s marketing strategy and will take on the leadership of the CRM, digital, brand and marketing team.
