Motorpoint is set to create 25 new roles with the opening of its latest branch in Swansea.
The national independent car retailer is busy transforming the former B&Q on Samlet Road in the city ready to open in late January 2020. The roles will cover areas such as Customer Service, Management, Sales and Vehicle Preparation at the ten-acre branch close to the Swansea Enterprise Park.
The opening of Motorpoint Swansea will complement the company’s network of existing branches in Birmingham, Birtley, Burnley, Castleford, Chingford, Derby, Glasgow, Newport, Oldbury, Peterborough, Sheffield and Widnes.
Motorpoint Swansea will stock 500 nearly new vehicles, all under three years old and with less than 25,000 miles, from 30 different manufacturers, when it officially opens its doors on Friday, January 31, 2020 – with a further 6,500 vehicles available in group stock.
Mark Carpenter, Chief Operating Officer of Motorpoint, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing the Motorpoint brand to South West Wales in the New Year and look forward to giving customers throughout Swansea and the surrounding area the opportunity to experience first hand our award-winning combination of choice, value and service.”
