Colin Sandford with Tess Munt MP and Dr Vince Cable MP
The Federation of Small Businsesses (FSB) Weston-super-Mare branch received high-profile backing for its ‘Real Life Entrepreneurs’ campaign recently.
Tessa Munt, who is the MP for Wells and Dr Vince Cable MP, who is currently the Business Secretary, both signed-up to support the campaign which looks to champion entrepreneurship.
Colin Sandford of FSB Weston Branch comments:“Setting up and running a business can be a daunting prospect.
“But the spirit of entrepreneurship that accompanies every new and growing business can also liberate, excite and inspire.
“It can lift people out of poverty, create wealth and put our economy back on track.
Alison Herbert, FSB Development Manager for Somerset and Wiltshire comments further: “The FSB represents Real-Life Entrepreneurs across every sector of the economy and every section of society.
“Our Champions Campaign means that we can seek support from our MPs to listen to the concerns of Real-Life Entrepreneurs and champion their cause at both local and national level.”
Colin concludes: “By signing to become a Champion, the MPs agree to recognise the many thousands of hard-working entrepreneurs that support the UK economy and we’re delighted they have done so.”
Dr Liam Fox, who is MP for North Somerset also recently signed up to support the campaign.
