Ed Rowberry - Arcadia Housing 2

Ed Rowberry – Arcadia Housing

Arcadia Housing, which owns and manages over 11,000 homes, providing services to 24,000 residents, has appointed Edward Rowberry as Assistant Director of Finance.

His appointment comes at a time when the Group is implementing a strategic review of all its services to refocus its area, reshape its services and refresh its ways of working. This will see the Group taking part in a series of stock swaps with other regional housing associations and building of new head office in Worle, Weston-super-Mare.

Ed will support the Director of Resources and lead a team responsible for treasury management, accounting and financial planning as the Group goes through this exciting but demanding period of change.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Ed worked for several years in the commercial property sector. Originally from London, he moved to Bristol in 2009 and started working in the social housing sector as Deputy Chief Executive of United Housing Association.

Commenting on his appointment Ed said: “Arcadia Housing is one of the leading housing associations in the South West. With the stock swaps and relocation to a new HQ, joining at this time is hugely exciting. I’m very much looking forward to playing an active role as the organisation continues to provide excellent services for its residents.”

Duncan Brown, Group Director of Resources added: “We’re delighted that Ed has joined Arcadia. He has an enviable reputation and will prove invaluable as the Group goes through its ambitious programme of change. I’m glad to have someone with Ed’s experience on board.”
