Neil Urch, 48, has bottled up thirty one years’ experience working in the residential property industry to launch a UK first.

Neil, who lives in Weston-super-Mare, has launched House Fox – a new type of estate agency which offers a completely new fee structure.

Instead of paying all of the fees up front or on completion of the sale of the property, the property owner pays a flat rate fee of £1390 INC Vat in two instalments (with four ways to pay including part payments) – one up front and one on completion of the sale. The fee structure is completely fixed and is the same whether the sale price of the house is £800,000 or £250,000.

Neil elaborates: “This is a completely new way of selling property and is fairer way to sell your home. Why should you pay a higher fee just because your property is worth a high figure? It doesn’t make sense. Estate agency needs to change and the launch of House Fox is recognising that.”

Neil has ambitious plans for the business, with Weston-super-Mare the first location he focuses on. He hopes to also include Clevedon, Burnham, Portishead and Bridgwater in the geography he covers, by the end of the year.

He comments: “There is nothing like this in the market and we offer a fair service for a fair price, ensuring the client doesn’t have to pay fees they shouldn’t be. We’re fanatical about service and excited to get going and grow the business.”

Neil is a well known figure in Weston-super-Mare and regularly raises money for his chosen charity The Bone Cancer Research Trust – holding an annual charity ball to raise money.
