New partner strengthens commercial offering for Bristol-based property firm
Leading commercial law firm Thrings has appointed commercial property expert Fionnuala Nolan as partner to advise the firm’s fast-growing portfolio of commercial real estate sector clients.
Coming to Thrings from City law firm Banks Kelly Solicitors, Fionnuala has built her reputation in the areas of retail, property development and property trading.
Fionnuala said: “I am delighted to be joining a dynamic and recognised team of lawyers who, as well as providing top tier legal advice, also place a keen emphasis on the importance of maintaining and growing client relationships.”
Thrings’ Commercial Property team offers recognised expertise across a range of sectors including development, construction, retail and secured lending.
Fionnuala, who has more than 20 years’ experience advising businesses on the full spectrum of their property needs, joins Thrings partner Alison Jarvis’ Commercial Property team to provide legal expertise to high-end luxury retailers, UK property developers, European and UK investors, trading companies, banks and industrial clients.
Managing partner at Thrings, Simon Holdsworth, added: “Welcoming Fionnuala to the team is a real coup for Thrings. She has a first-rate reputation and great experience in the high-end luxury retail sector, acting for leading Italian and German retail operators and their financial backers.
“Fionnuala has a proven track record in delivering complex and time-sensitive transactions involving multiple sources of funding and advising developer clients in the acquisition of complex development sites and trading transactions.
“We are therefore really pleased to have her join us as the newest member of our fast-growing Commercial Property team.”
