New partnership announced for West Stand at Leeds United Football Club

Leeds United Football Club has announced a two-year partnership with local household and laundry cleaning firm Astonish.

The new agreement will see Astonish, a second generation family business; become the official sponsor of the West Stand at Elland Road.

Astonish, who are proud to manufacture all of their goods in a state-of-the-art facility in West Yorkshire have been in operation for 40 years and produce a range of over 60 products from mould removers to oven cleaners and stain removers, sold in stores nationwide as well as some 30 markets worldwide.

Paul Bell, Leeds United executive director, said: “Astonish are a national brand who are proud to come from our region, directly employing 70 people from the community and we are excited to welcome them to our family.

“Their branding looks fantastic across the top of the John Charles West Stand and we are excited to see our partnership with such a strong and conscientious company continue to develop over the next two seasons.”

As well as West Stand sponsorship the partnership will also see Astonish take a box on level four of the East Stand at Elland Road and appear on our LED advertising boards and in every match day programme at our home games.

The owner manager at Astonish, Howard Moss, added: “As a local West Yorkshire business with our roots firmly established in Leeds, we are thrilled to be partnered with Leeds United Football Club.

“Our products have always been extremely popular with shoppers throughout the local region, as well as our leading customers having their head offices based in Leeds and surrounding areas.

“With the historic centenary year for Leeds during 2019, we felt this was an exciting time to be partnered together and we are looking forward to a successful two years together.”
