Newark and Sherwood Homes has appointed local businessman Andrew Fearn as its new board chairman, as Lynn Clayton steps down from the role after 12 years of service.
Fearn has over 40 years experience as a lawyer, most recently as a deputy managing partner of Langleys in Lincoln and York.
Commenting on his appointment as chairman, Fearn said: “I am honoured to join Newark and Sherwood Homes as chairman of the board and look forward to being an ambassador for the company as well as the local community, through leading discussions with integrity and a fresh pair of eyes.
“I relish any opportunity to make a difference for the community and can’t wait to begin supporting Newark and Sherwood Homes in continuing to meet its vision of delivering housing excellence. ”
Rebecca Rance, chief executive of Newark and Sherwood Homes, added: “Andrew brings a huge wealth of experience to the Board and we are delighted to welcome him to Newark and Sherwood Homes.”
