Nickel-Electro celebrates 70 years

Weston-super-Mare based Nickel-Electro is celebrating its landmark 70th year in business.

Originally based in Birmingham, Nickel-Electro re-located to Weston-super-Mare in 1962 and is based on the Oldmixon Trading Estate.

The company manufacture laboratory consumables and equipment and also created the well-known Clifton Food Range®.

This range provides market-leading sous vide – a specialist method of cooking – equipment and is used by some of the top chef’s in the UK.

Nickel-Electro has also launched a new Clifton Food Range® website.

Visitors can explore the company’s history through an interactive timeline and gain information on sous vide cooking and techniques.

Customers can also book visits to the Clifton Food Range® premises to trial the water baths in the demo kitchen, as well as a tour of the factory to see how the baths are manufactured.
