Explain Market Research

Explain Market Research, which works with businesses across the UK in sectors such as utilities, social housing, higher education and healthcare, has partnered with a range of significant new clients across Scotland as part of its strategic growth.

The agency, which last month celebrated its most successful year to date, has added Scottish Water and SGN to its portfolio of clients in the utilities sector.

Building on its long-term partnership with SP Energy Networks and SSE, this acquisition of new clients signals the increasing presence of the North East agency in Scotland.

Kim Davis, managing director at Explain Market Research, said: “Expanding into Scotland and beginning work with Scottish Water and SGN is a fantastic achievement for the agency, illustrating our experience as a North East business successfully delivering projects across the UK, from Fort William to Southern England.

“With extensive knowledge and experience in the utilities sector, Explain is expertly positioned to deliver tangible results to our newly acquired clients, providing customer insight to support business planning. Understanding your market and having insight into the wide array of customers and wider stakeholders you serve is of extremely high importance to organisations that operate in a regulated environment and also want to deliver exceptional service to their customers.

“We are looking forward to developing our relationship with the new clients and expanding our portfolio of clients in Scotland.”

Explain has supported SP Energy Networks in undertaking business planning research including customer and stakeholder engagement using a range of research methodologies from innovative approaches to more traditional techniques to deliver robust insight.
