Leeds-based investment non-profit NorthInvest has announced its partnership with Capita Scaling Partner.
This partnership will see the two companies collaborate on a series of bespoke pitch events with the aim of connecting innovative businesses in the North of England with Capita’s unique scaling initiative.
Capita Scaling Partner (CSP) is the start-up development business of Capita, one of the UK’s largest outsourcing and professional services companies. CSP provides start-ups with strategic access to a vast network of clients, suppliers, investors and sales experts to secure long term sustainable growth.
Helen Oldham, Founding Board Director of NorthInvest said: “NorthInvest and Capita Scaling Partner are both passionate about supporting UK start-ups and scale-ups, so forming this partnership was a natural evolution. This initiative will provide founders with a unique opportunity to connect with an organisation which has significant supplier reach and a wide range innovative technologies.”
Anna Fairhurst, Head of Origination at Capita Scaling Partner adds: “We are really excited about supporting start-ups in the North to scale through a partnership with Capita and making their solutions available to a wider client base. With our network of relationships both in the UK and abroad we’re uniquely placed to help start-ups scale and we’re really proud to be working with NorthInvest to bring that proposition into the Northern technology ecosystem.”
