Baxter Freight, which has its head office in Lenton, was set up in 2014 and now employs more than 60 people. It operates daily services covering all the main commercial centres in continental Europe and the Nordic region, as well as thriving domestic and overseas divisions.

Chairman Ian Baxter said: “We’re an ambitious company with big plans for the future. The success of our business depends on the strength and skills of our employees. That’s why we have made it our mission to recruit, train and develop a great and growing team of people who love working at Baxter Freight and want to invest their future with us.

“I am delighted to welcome O’Neill, Adam, Ben, Demi, Greg, Elena and Richard to Baxter Freight and I have no doubt they will flourish in their new roles. We’re always on the lookout for people who are passionate about their career progression and want to join a company that offers robust training and mentoring as well as excellent financial rewards,”

Account manager Lewis , who joined Baxter Freight after relocating to Nottingham from Northamptonshire, wanted a complete career change from her previous role in insurance.

Speaking on her appointment, she commented: “Being new to the freight industry means I’m learning something new every day and I’m relishing in that challenge. I was attracted to Baxter Freight because of the company’s training and mentoring offering, which will allow me to progress within a fast-moving business and the freight sector.”
