Richmond Hill in Bournemouth has become home 33rd branch of the London-based Be At One Cocktail bar, and the golden tiled doors are now officially open.

A series of on-the-road cocktail pop up bars have taken place in the run up to the bars opening, generating excitement in the region. Locations included a secret setting masterclass at a local VIP’s home bar, BH Banter networking event at The Miramar Hotel, and a social tasting of Pornstar Martinis at THIS Workspace.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Bournemouth, Cllr Lawrence Williams and Mrs Elaine Williams, officially welcomed the national bar to the area with a celebratory ribbon cutting launching the VIP event on Thursday 17th August.

VIPs, business professionals and dignitaries in the area took a look around the new venue and tasted a selection of 130 cocktail recipes available at the bar. The three founders of the brand Steve Locke, Rhys Oldfield and Leigh Miller joined in the celebrations and unveiled the new bar.

The founders of the company invest £6000 into every bar tender and only employ full-time members of the team. The Bournemouth branch has created seven new full-time bar staff jobs, two new management roles and a £500,000 investment into a prime site in the city centre.

Steve Locke, Co-Founder of Be At One said: “We have been wanting to secure a sight in Bournemouth for a while now. We really wanted to be a part of the vibrant busy centre, and there is no offering like Be At One. With the significant investment over the past few years we thought there was no time like the present to add Bournemouth to the Be At One Family.”
