Open day following £5 million makeover

Newly refurbished bar
Business people from across Bristol are being invited to take a look around a newly refurbished hotel.
The DoubleTree by Hilton hotel at Recliffe Way recently underwent a £5 million makeover.
The open day is taking place on Thursday 19 September from 8.30am to 8.30pm and visitors will be able to find out more about the venue.
Guests will be able to take a look around the historic Kiln Restaurant, that is set within the coned walls of a 17th century kiln, once used for making the world famous Bristol glass.
The hotel is close to Temple Meads station and the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone.
John Dowling, General Manager at the hotel comments: “The refurbishment has dramatically transformed the hotel and restaurant to one that can offer quality accommodation and place to eat and we’re looking forward to showing people around on the day.
“If Bristol is serious about attracting more business, more tourists and more visitors it needs to provide accommodation of this quality.
“The investment is good news for the venue, good news for businesses located close by and is good news for the city as it provides another four-star hotel that visitors to the city are looking for.”
