OSR nominated for newcomer award at Advisen Cyber Risk Awards 2020

Optimum Speciality Risks (OSR) have today been nominated for ‘Cyber Newcomer of the Year’ at the Advisen Cyber Risk Awards 2020.
OSR was founded in 2018 and is fast becoming one of the UK’s leading cyber insurance and risk management providers. The company rebranded and relaunched in 2019 following the introduction of Freddy Knight to the board as Innovation Director and the release of their UK SME Cyber Insurance product.
Advisen’s Cyber Risk Awards are determined by ‘People’s Choice’ and leverage Advisen’s vast contact database of insurance professionals who care about Cyber Risk.
OSR are nominated for the Cyber Newcomer of the Year. According to the Awards’, this is a crowded space and it’s hard to get noticed as a newcomer in the cybersecurity or insurance sector.
Therefore, this award is specifically designed to recognise a start-up operation from 2019 that has made a real impact on how cyber threats are identified, quantified or mitigated.
The winner will have demonstrated a refreshingly new way of doing business, a technological breakthrough or a particularly interesting partnership of skills to make a splash in 2019. Nominees must include a link to a press release, confirming their launch in 2019.
Judging is taking place soon, and the Awards will be announced on June 18, 2020, in New York, USA.
