Barclays has announced the appointment of James Jordan as Head of Mid-Corporate to lead the mid-corporate market for the South West region.
James joins Barclays from HSBC UK, where he spent over two decades holding a variety of senior roles across the Corporate and Commercial Bank. More recently, James led the Partnerships team within the Strategy and Innovation division for HSBC Commercial Banking, working closely with a range of different financial technology businesses to develop new customer propositions.
In his new role at Barclays, James will be responsible for the continued growth of Barclays mid-corporate, deepening existing and new client relationships, operating between £6.5m and £50m turnover, and being responsible for managing a team of 18 colleagues based at offices located in Bristol, Exeter, and Truro.
