Progressive professional services group Outset UK has made strategic changes to its management structure to support its rapid growth. Sean Gorman, who formerly led Outset’s Corporate, Commercial and Property activities has been promoted to Managing Director of the legal and consultancy business with immediate effect.

Steve Gerring will continue to be Managing Director of the group’s safety arm following the acquisition of his business UKHSE – a health & safety training and consultancy provider by Outset in 2014.

Both Sean and Steve will work closely on the planned development of the group with CEO and founder, Jonathan Gauton remaining at the helm to oversee its strategic direction and vision.

Jonathan Gauton said: “The expansion of the business and our ambitious plans across legal, consulting and safety requires more clarity in management roles in order for the heavy investment to produce the desired results.  Sean has made a significant impact since joining us nearly 3 years ago and has played a key role in a range of pivotal developments across the business. His promotion recognises his support in bringing our vision to life and along with the rest of the team, will be instrumental to our future growth.”

Sean Gorman who spent nearly 10 years of his career at legal firm Brachers LLP before moving into a commercial role in the construction sector, said: “It’s a great privilege to take on the new role at such an innovative and forward thinking firm. Our growth to date has been fuelled by our commitment to build an ecosystem of services around the needs of our clients and deliver real value which is something I and the rest of the business are extremely passionate about. We have a fantastic team of talented individuals and I look forward to helping us all continue to build something great together.”

Outset UK has offices across Kent, London and Bristol.
