Personal branding agency led by 25-year old entrepreneur hits £1m ARR without any funding

London-based personal branding agency, WOAW, has announced that they have hit £1m annual recurring revenue (ARR), despite having never taken any money in external funding.

Within the startup space, entrepreneurship is mainly celebrated through venture capital raises, but this is the opposite. WOAW’s growth is fuelled by a high client retention rate.

The company, which claims to be the first in the UK to offer ‘personal branding on social media’ as a service in the way that it is now, was founded four years ago by Joe Binder, who was aged just 21 at the time. Binder, who is also the company’s Director, has gone on to turn it into a £1m business with more than 16 full-time employees. Binder also has ambitious to treble the business in size within the next 12 months.

WOAW’s list of high-profile clients includes former Dragons Tej Lalvani, Sara Davies MBE, and James Caan CBE, and works with a number of ambitious and disruptive high-growth tech businesses.
