Plastic packaging waste recycling specialist OSO Polymers has agreed a 10-year lease on a new headquarters in Leeds.

Work is now underway to prepare the 87,000 sq ft space within the Copperworks 2 site, Haigh Park Road, Stourton, for OSO Polymers’ operations. The lease was agreed with Towngate PLC.

Tong Shen, director at OSO Polymers, said: “We are very pleased to set up our first UK plastic recycling facility in this extensively refurbished premises, on a well-established historical industrial location within Leeds area. I am confident the site and the extremely supportive team of Towngate will meet our business needs well into the future, as OSO continues to grow.”

John Wignall, property director at Brighouse-based Towngate PLC, added: “I have no doubt that OSO will settle well into this prime industrial location – just minutes from the city centre – on the outskirts of Leeds. The site is certainly ideally positioned for this particular industry.

“We are also marketing the remaining 180,000 sqft space within Copperworks 2 on the Haigh Park Road site in Stourton, Leeds, and a refurbishment of this historic building is due to take place shortly.”
