Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has today said that Prime Minister Boris Johnson is still “very much in charge of the government” despite spending last night in a London hospital with coronavirus.
Johnson was admitted on Sunday evening, after suffering persistent Covid-19-related symptoms. The PM tested positive for the virus 10 days ago.

In response to the news US President Donald Trump sent his wishes to Johnson. He said: “All Americans are praying for him. He’s a great friend of mine, a great gentleman and a great leader.”
