Key Capital Partners has appointed a new investment executive

Key Capital Partners has appointed Amish Arya as its new investment executive at its Leeds office.

Arya joins the private equity house after working as a corporate finance executive at Garbutt and Elliott, with a further three years with Deloitte prior to that where he qualified as a chartered accountant.

Key Capital Partners have completed four deals in the last 12 months investing about £30 million in a range of businesses, including construction materials retailer CMO and York-based intolerance food testing business YorkTest.

Partner James Hall, who leads the Key Capital Partners’ Northern Team, said: “Amish has a good grounding in corporate finance and experience of building rapport with clients which are a great fit with our needs and ethos.

“Since launching our latest fund in November 2015, we have been steadily gaining momentum and have a strong pipeline of potential investments going forward.  Consequently, we are continuing to expand the team to work with our increasing number of portfolio businesses and support them as they grow and develop further.”

Amish Arya added: “I’m excited to be joining such a renowned team with an impressive track record of helping profitable, dynamic businesses to achieve phenomenal growth. I’m really looking forward to taking on this new challenge and being part of KCP’s continued success.”

In February, Key Capital Partners appointed Matt Tice as investment manager as it continues to build its Leeds team.
