Property consultants ETP move to new Clifton office

Bristol property consultants ETP has moved to new offices in Alma Road in Clifton.

Partner Alastair Kimpton took charge of the design and refurbishment of the firm’s new base with a brief to ‘re-imagine a smaller office space’ and create a contemporary environment for the fast-growing team.

Kimpton said: “The way we function as a firm looks to a more collaborative working style. We want staff to come to work and enjoy themselves rather than simply turning up. We had a fantastic opportunity to start afresh with the new offices, as they required complete refurbishment. We wanted to create an inspiring space for our staff whilst promoting collaborative working.

“We have not been in the new space for long, but the difference is already noticeable. Our team is happier and more enthusiastic as a consequence.”

The new office space just off the busy Whiteladies Road is also handy for clients to ‘pop their heads around the door’.

“We needed a space to help us deal with the steady increase in business over the last year or two and we also wanted a better sense of place; somewhere with a vibrant atmosphere to inspire us,” added Alastair.

“We are handling 100 valuations every month alongside general commercial property acquisitions and sales. People are cracking on with deals despite Brexit. The industrial sector is still desirable and showing growth in rental performance. Offices continue to do well but there is a citywide general lack of quality accommodation.”
