A South West property management agency has invested in two new Weston-super-Mare based property managers as part of its plans to expand in the region.

BNS Property Management, which looks after over 230 blocks, new build developments and retirement homes across the region, has strengthened its North Somerset team with the appointment of Mark Lancaster and Gen Smith.

Both Mark and Gen will be responsible for the company’s current Weston and surrounding area portfolio which includes Knightstone Island, Rozel House and Westcliff Villas, as well as bringing new properties on board.

Joining as a Senior Property Manager Mark Lancaster is a member of the Institute of Residential Property Management and an associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

He said: “I have strong links to Weston, having lived here all my life so it’s great to be able to offer my expertise to local residents. Weston has some great, recognisable properties across a range of builds with a varied client base.”

Property Manager Gen Smith will be responsible for the day-to-day running of these local properties as well as managing any major works being undertaken.

She said: “Weston is a growing town with an expanding number of properties requiring management. Experience in dealing with both new and old property is something that we will be bringing with us.”

BNS Managing Director, Andrew Simmonds, said: “Weston-super-Mare is one of the areas we have identified as one to watch on the property scene. The properties here are really unique and interesting and we feel our services would benefit residents and landlords.

“We have invested heavily in finding the right staff in the past 12 months and the appointments of Mark and Gen will bolster our property management team further.”
