A telecoms firm in the South West has strengthened its board of directors after a record year.

Georgina Callaghan has become Operations Director at Pure Comms and joins the current board which consists of CEO Rob Vivian, Executive Director Richard Corser, and Non-Executive Chairman Julian Telling.

The move comes hot on the heels of a record year for award-winning Pure Comms, based just outside Bristol, with the company hitting the £3million turnover mark.

“The last 12 months has really pushed the business into the ascendancy and since coming on board as a Business Development Manager Georgina has been a vital member of the team,” said Rob. “I am delighted to welcome her on to the board.”

Pure Comms success was down in no small part to the launch of its Pure Home Working this time last year in response to clients having to work from home during the coronavirus pandemic.

The home working solution allows management to put in a dedicated broadband set-up and a telephone infrastructure that provides information on when people log in and out, and the system can connect 20 team members.

The additional work has seen Pure Comms respond with a series of recent appointments to its team, with Caitlin Staddon joining as Marketing Executive, Melissa Poole joining as Operations Executive, and Kayleigh Gresty has joined as an Account Manager.

“As a telecoms provider that specialises in building bespoke packages around our client and their needs, our Pure Home Working solution has proved vital for our clients to help them have a smooth transition from the office to remote working,” said Rob.

“It’s testament to the hard work the team have put in over the last 12 months that we have been able to invest and grow at a time when many businesses were having to cut back.”
