Pure Offices charity cycle
Pure Offices staff, tenants and local residents recently cycled 48 miles from the Pure Offices business centre in Gloucester to its centre in Portishead to raise money for charity.
The first to finish were Helen and Graeme Barker, a husband and wife team, who made it back to Portishead in three and three quarter hours.
Then, after a 15 minute break, they cycled back to Gloucester. The rest of the riders all made times between 4 and 5 hours.
Around £800 was raised for the Pied Piper Appeal, which is a charity that works to improve the lives of sick children.
Pure Offices is based in Portishead and according to Centre Manager Kim Batchelor is North Somerset’s premier business centre. Pure Offices will also be opening another site in Weston Super Mare early next year.
