A record breaking summer schedule has rocketed fireworks specialists Skyburst to their most successful year ever.

Skyburst had a very positive summer, with turnover hitting new heights thanks to a record number of displays.

Alan Christie, Managing Director of Skyburst, who have operations in North Somerset, said the company turned over a record breaking £151,000 between June and September alone.

He comments: “The summer season is not usually our busiest time of the year but the jubilee transformed all that and we ended up putting on 18 displays in one weekend.”

Skyburst finished the summer having presented a total of 101 displays and are now gearing up for their busiest time of year – Autumn and Winter.

Alan Christie comments: “October-November looks set to be bigger than ever with turnover expected to be around £280,000 over a total of 120 displays. We are delighted to be seeing increased success despite the downturn.”

Skyburst, which has bases in Bedminster and Upper Langford, attended a number of top line firework festivals and events over the summer and their award-winning exhibition displays have been filmed for the Discovery Channel.
