Recruitment firm marks ten year anniversary with re-brand

Bristol-based Heat Recruitment is celebrating ten years in business by rolling out a new brand.

Heat is a specialist recruitment consultancy operating within the accountancy, finance, information technology, financial services, legal and general insurance sectors.

It supplies staff for both permanent and temporary employment.

Ex marine turned entrepreneur Steve Preston set up the business ten years ago.

He comments: “I remember when I set up the business back in 2006, thinking about the enormity of the tasks ahead of me.

“It all started with the first Business Development call being made from a bijou back bedroom, and when I say bijou I really mean small, tiny.

“In fact, it was lucky that I set up on my own as there was no more room for another person at the beginning.”

Today, Heat employ over 40 staff and operate out of central Bristol.

On the re-brand Steve comments: ““Whilst I am fond of the old logo design, it was starting to feel like on old horse coming to the end of its days which is far from what Heat represents.

“What I needed was a ‘Stallion’ brand that would help to carry us on the next leg of the journey. What we have is just that and I am delighted with it – it’s been a collaborative process, which the whole team was involved in.”
