South west regional contractor Pollard, has posted record turnover figures for the financial year ending March 2015.

Turnover for the company rose during the year from £18.6m to £23.6m reflecting a growth of 27% for the period, with pre-tax profit of £180,000.

Bill Badham, Managing Director of Pollard, comments: “Following on from the increases we saw in revenues in the previous year, these results are both pleasing and impressive.

“The significant growth in turnover for a second consecutive year is in line with our business plan and reinforces our position as one of the leading regional contractors in the South West.

“As an industry we have been through a very challenging few years which continues to impact on margins.

“This has not however, prevented us in investing in our future by strengthening our management teams and opening a Plymouth office to support our expansion in that area.

Bill continues:“We have a healthy order book going forward and are confident that this continuing investment will see us again grow significantly this year.”

During the year the company has undertaken projects from Oxford to Plymouth across a range of market sectors, with a number of these projects winning industry recognition having secured awards.

These include the NSEA offices in Weston and the IM&T building at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
