Restore Datashred, part of Restore Plc, the largest UK-owned document management and commercial relocation providers, has acquired the secure shredding and data destruction business of Baxter Confidential.
Having acquired a number of businesses in the last year, including Data Solutions in August 2016, Restore Datashred absorbed many of the sites into their current depots. Due to its geographic location and transport links, Baxter’s site in Winchester will continue to be used as a Restore facility.
Seth Cowie, managing director of Baxter Environmental, said: “We are all excited with this latest development. It was important for us to leave the business in the right hands for the security of our staff and customers.
“In Restore Datashred, we have been acquired by a company with similar values to us and a very strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.”
Anthony Pearlgood, Managing Director of Restore Datashred, continued: “The addition of Baxter Confidential and its site in Winchester broadens Restore Datashred’s customer base in Southern England and strengthens our branch network.
“It will also provide us with further economies of scale and extends our position as the UK’s second largest provider of secure shredding services. We’ve not only acquired a great business, but also a great team with a fantastic work ethic and culture.”
