New business is green and clean

Dr Liam Fox MP (centre) with Future Clean team
Portishead based Alliance Homes welcomed a high-profile figure to its latest business launch.
Dr Liam Fox, who is MP for North Somerset, celebrated the launch of Alliance’s ‘revolutionary’ new car cleaning service, together with staff and Group Chief Executive Clive Bodley.
Called Future Clean, the scheme will help people with disabilities and other disadvantages to find employment and training.
It is also environmentally-friendly, as the car cleaning service uses less than a cup of rainwater to clean cars, and all the products used are completely biodegradable
It is set to be rolled out across Bristol and North Somerset.
Dr Liam Fox, MP for North Somerset, comments: “This is a wonderful opportunity for people who might otherwise have been excluded from the world of work.
“It means so much to them and their families and brings great benefits to the wider ommunity. It’s a ‘win-win’ for everyone and I wish Alliance every success.”
Initially, Future Clean will be based at the Alliance Homes’ office in Portishead but the social enterprise is working closely with local Councils and businesses to identify more sites in Bristol and North Somerset.
