Romans branches into South West with branch opening in Bristol

The Leaders Romans Group (LRG) has announced the successful acquisition of Property Concept.
Based in Clifton, Property Concept is a single branch residential letting and sales agency, previously owned by Tracy Robertson and Chris Hurd. The business comprises 225 managed tenancies together with a further 92 let-only tenancies, with the majority of the portfolio sitting in and around Clifton and central Bristol.
Romans has welcomed all eight Property Concept employees to the business, and will be working with Tracy Robertson on a consultancy basis.
The existing Property Concept office on Princess Victoria Street in Clifton will be re-branded to Romans, incorporating Property Concept, before eventually trading solely as Romans once the brand is established.
This latest acquisition, LRG’s eighth of 2018, will see Romans continue to expand their brand into the South West, following their two acquisitions and office opening in Bath late last year.
Matthew Light, Group Acquisitions Director at LRG, commented: “Property Concept represents an excellent opportunity to spread the geographic coverage of the Romans network of offices, adding Bristol to the two successful acquisitions in Bath we have made in the last twelve months.
“Bristol has a vast rental market and we are therefore very confident of adding to this acquisition in the near future, following a similar model to Bath and other towns and cities where we have built from a first good quality acquisition to become market leaders. We already have one other Bristol business in the agreed pipeline and there are ongoing discussions with others, so please get in touch if you are considering selling your property business in and around the Bristol area.”
