Midlands law firm Roythornes Solicitors has revealed details of its expanded Birmingham office amid a host of promotions and new recruits.
After establishing an office in Birmingham city centre earlier this year, the firm has now moved to larger premises to accommodate its expanding team. The new office is located just a stone’s throw from the iconic Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Bullring.
Benjamin Smith and Emily Danson – who joined the business earlier in the year alongside Bhavesh Amlani, a former sector head at national firm Shoosmiths – have both been promoted within the real estate team to partner.
They also join property litigation partner Bukola Obadun-Craigs, who was recruited during lockdown, and Kate Parry and Oliver Palmer, who have both joined the real estate team as solicitors.
Hannah Leese, a specialist food litigator, has also been promoted to partner in the firm’s Nottingham office.
Partner and national head of real estate Bhavesh Amlani comments: “We are delighted with our strategic expansion and the promotions. We have positioned ourselves to trade well throughout the year and have had a strong end to our financial year in June, with turnover up by 4% and net profit up by 10%.”
