RSM appointed joint administrators after Bristol care home falls into administration

RSM Restructuring Advisory LLP have been appointed as joint administrators of Driskal Limited, following the announcement that their 5-bed Woodlands Manor Care Home has fallen into administration.

The appointment follows a series of difficulties following the building of an extension to the Kendleshire-based care home to improve its facilities for residents.

While the extension is near completion, there have been some delays with the building project. RSM’s appointment will allow this to be completed. RSM will work with the staff to maintain the continuity of service to all 30 residents.

Mark Boughey, RSM Restructuring Advisory partner and Joint Administrator, said: “We are working hard to stabilise the care home’s operations and maintain its going concern position. We are working closely with the Care Quality Commission, the Local Authority, the residents and their families. We hope to secure the long-term future of the home through a sale in the coming months. We would welcome any interested parties coming forward who may have an interest in acquiring the facility.”
